Did I catch all of these? Nope not even 1 I look at day open until around 19:00/20:00 NY times that's late in the UK. Then check London open from around 02:00/ 03:30 then head to work and not usually available to look again until late afternoon.
So basically I use 8 hr pivots and look for them to take them out and hit a 1min fvg, also that area to of then out a low, then look on m1 and 15 second charts for MSS mark up order block on 1m/15s charts need a tight sl as wasn't big rr. Targets pivots and old highs. Take tp1 at 3r then move sl to break even to secure some profit tp2 at another key area pivot/highs.
To have confidence to hold the first buys would of been tough to give that all back but I am getting better at accepting it.
The trade I caught was on UJ and similar idea I caught a sweet trade took tp1 and tp 2 but left some on that got taken out at breakeven. Looking at us30 going up I should of cut it. Seen around 02:00 NY time when I work up and decided to leave it. As UJ generally does the opposite that was a bad call. When it comes back often it will at least take that low out but in US30 case it didn't and carried on back up to take highs.
I quite like UJ trades on day open as sometimes they just fly all day in 1 direction. If you have confidence to catch it and hold all day you are winning huge!
Looking again hindsight it did the same again took 8hr pivot the 15min didn't close blow the 1m fvg (this isnt set in stone may look at 5min fvg in future) still working on this 15s MSS for super tight sl target the internal high which was another 8hr pivot (the green lines).
Just looked at high where it reversed there as a pivot form end of Nov it came down from same pattern but no way I would of seen it in all truth and the poi was bigger than I would of taken for sure.
In the future I may share more details on indicators if I see some interest, this blog seems just for me at the moment but if nothing else its a log for myself. I keep saying I will share more but life is so busy!
