So it seems MetaQuotes is not longer available to customers from the US at all through normal brokers or prop firms. I am UK based and no issues so far with FP markets or Fusion markets I use.
I had my trade copier set in NY and FTMO emailed me flagging this as an issue. I since moved to a London server which is ok but not ideal as both Fusion and FP are based in NY so wanted them closest to that location.
Many prop firms have lost the use of MetaQuotes too for everyone with a few exceptions.
You will see I have update the resources section with my current rank mainly due to this reason. I use MT4 and all my trade manager and protection settings are though that using Expert advisors. So the loss of this is a big problem for me.
I have 2 live accounts with prop firms FTMO currently is not affected they still have mt4 and mt5 available but seems they stopped accepting US customers completely. They also have Ctrader and DX trade as platform options.
Instant funding is the other prop firm that I am funded with and Think markets have pulled the plug on mt4/5 use. They are implementing DX trade hopefully next week. But I have never used it and have no trade copier that as them as an option this is a major problem for me. They have said they are adding more options and trying to get their own MetaQuotes licence to add mt4/5 again. So I hope this happens soon.
To my current ranking prop firms:
1 FTMO. These guys are the longest standing in the industry. I have personally used and received pay-outs they are good in general and still have mt4/5 available I believe they have their own licence so on their own server. Max funding $400k and they have a good vip style program that can allow up to £1m in funding. Along with standard scaling options. They also offer free trial to test it all out and see if you can keep to the rules.
2 Fundednext. These guys have decent reputation and recently got their on Metaquote licence offering mt4/5. Max funding $300k with standard scaling options. They also offer free trial to test it all out and see if you can keep to the rules.
3 MyFundedFX. These guys have decent reputation and still have the use of mt4/5 though Blueberry markets. I hope they don't lose that link but will all the crap going on who knows! It says $600k max but seems you can only have $300k in different challenge types I would need to check if that is correct or even if you can copy same trades over as it could be $300k per strategy.
Honestly these are the only three I would consider at the moment. I am sure there are more good ones but these are on my list currently. You need to check all info for yourself and check banned countries lists too.
